The Raw Poets Contest (money prizes!)

finelivescollective:

To thank everyone for their support and for 300 followers we wanted to literally give a little something back.  So here is all the info and thank you making Fine Lives happen.

This is being judged by Faith (d-apres-moi) and me (theoctobermuse)

We will choose the poem that makes us feel the deepest “something” and that greatly leaves an impact on our mind.  We will both read and discuss each one and come to a consensus.  Once we reach 100 (or more) submissions we will choose our winner.

Rules:
poem(s) must be previously unpublished

reblog this (as many times as you want)

follow finelivescollective.tumblr.com

submit a poem via the submissions link (http://finelivescollective.tumblr.com/submit) and say that it is a entry to this contest

The prizes are $25, a scented stuffed animal, and a $15 iTunes gift certificate, Fine Lives business cards, a featured article on Fine Lives and some junk food.

Thank you so much for your support and may you find great inspiration!

time for a second coming. werkloos 2: the next generation. this time even more voices, more wanderlust, more quirk, more… werkloos.
issue two of werkloos is on its way and we need your submissions! give us your visual art, your prose, your covertly written poem longing
to be read! who’s ever heard of
a sophomore slump? not us. we are hyped and ready to go.
the theme for this issue: IN LIMBO. we’re looking for art
and writing about the in-between space, the moment where something could
just as easily be one thing or another, essays about waiting rooms and
essays about waiting to launch, your shape-shifter short stories about people and places adrift between two worlds, and paintings of the space between.
did you create something that doesn’t really fit but you want to send us anyway? please do. we want it all. all of you. the first
track was pretty exciting, but the second track is where the bass comes
in.

o-oh, it’s the 9th. you know what that means - one day left to submit.
